BeeHive defends vehicles, equipment and personnel against FPV kamikaze drones. Once a threat is detected, BeeHive is launched and does everything else on its own — it moves into the path of the attacking drone and collides with it before it reaches its target.
Because the full detect–track–intercept chain runs onboard, BeeHive needs no operator, no radio link and no GPS after launch. It keeps working where jamming defeats conventional countermeasures and where GNSS is denied.
An onboard AI camera runs a neural network directly on the image sensor, scanning continuously for airborne targets.
Target position is filtered to smooth noisy detections and predict where the target will be by the time a guidance command reaches the aircraft.
Bearing and range are relayed to the flight controller over a dedicated high-speed link, which computes a continuously updated intercept course using proportional navigation.
The interceptor flies without GPS, using optical flow for velocity and a LIDAR rangefinder for altitude, enabling operation where GPS is denied.
The aircraft converges autonomously on the predicted intercept point and executes the engagement, neutralising the target.
